What our Students Say

Amani Jones is a student-athlete who was born and raised in Chicago.

He grew up in a community where you needed to watch out for your back to feel safe. As a result, he faced many obstacles as he grew up.

Despite the challenges, Amani has been able to overcome them with support from KDT Sports.

Amani says that the most important the KDT Sports did for him was giving him hope. He says: “I didn’t think I would be able to go to college one day because of my grades… but KDT Sports helped me change my life.”

KDT Sports planted a seed of hope in Amani by preparing him to obtain collegiate scholarships and academic degrees—and ultimately change his life. Listen to how they did it!

“Dr. Hampton and KDT Sports has been a major blessing to the upstart of the Coach Smoke Brand. She saw great things in my abilities as a trainer to the point that she allowed me to be her son RJ’s personal infield Trainer for 3 years now. From the very beginning of being around Dr. Hampton she stressed to me the importance of building my brand because it is a major necessity to the youth in our communities. After much consideration and Dr. Hampton developing a great relationship with my wife Tiffany, the Brand “Coach Smoke Athletics” was formed. Dr. Hampton guided us through every step of how to make this business prosper, from getting the LLC complete, to logo design, to website development and so much more. The new and improved Coach Smoke Brand is extremely grateful for Dr. Hampton expertise and belief in what The Brand can offer to our youth.

Dr. Hampton definitely gets Coach Smoke Athletics LLCs STAMP OF APPROVAL!!!!”

Dr. Hampton has played a significant role not only guiding me in my studies but in life. Since the first time we met she has been in my corner as someone I can truly rely on. She’s been there with me through ups and downs in academics as well as football and injuries. I’m forever grateful for her support. Not a lot of individuals are caring and giving as much as she has poured into me. I always appreciated how she took time out of her busy schedule of being a mother, Doctoral student, and principal to assist me academically.

Don’t let students have to make this choice. Sponsor a student today.

We want to level the playing field for children in
low income demographics by
providing the
same opportunities for them too.

Help us achieve our goal by funding for the facilities they need to support their success for kids in high-poverty neighborhoods, who live in a “championship community”, but can’t afford to go to college because they lack the sponsorships and the facilities and resources they need.

Be a part of the fulfillment of our vision to have an impact on the lives of our young student-athletes through SPORTS.
